Rajkot is centrally located in saurashtra and during 59 years after independence, travelled with unlimited developments, and greatest opportunities ever in and around with every color of progress.

Rajkot has found place among the leading industrial centers of india. Over the past fifty years it has grown to be the main center of production of diesel engines and its spares, machine tools and automobile spares, plastics, pharmaceuticals, golden/silver ornament and its machinary, food products and other products which are manufactured and exported from this region. Oflate, rajkot has been manufacturing and exporting all type of bearings. There has been remarkable increase day by day in exports as well as imports from and to this region. There are 350 exporters including 250 exporter- members of rajkot chamber of commerce and industry. Rajkot is fully geared to march ahead with the best quality manufactured here to market them at competitive prices also in overseas market - thus able to carve a niche for itself in the international market.

Every day rajkot is running in the way of progress. Nothing makes rajkot tired in the way of achievements rajkot is countable as a mega city in every matter with the man power of more then 12 lacs people. With all its capacities & eligibilities, Rajkot is very well known as a "Capital of Saurashtra". Not only in india but all over the world, rajkot is constantly making history in many factors itself saying to the world, Rajkot is the eclat of the 21st century global vision.

Rajkot chamber of commerce & industry (RCCI) an apex body of trade and industries in and around rajkot, has been actively functioning for more then fifty years in this region. At present RCCI has strength of more than 1600 members from various trad & industries including as many as 100 different trade & industry related associations.

Going ahead our new mission is "Global Rajkot" we have built quite an organization with extensive resource having contactivity and connectivity with various embassies and consulates world over. The most recent bridge that rajkot chamber has built has been with US consulate in developing trade, commerce and industries between two regions.

Growing industries also require skilled manpower. For this we have created a database for jobs,where employees and employers come together to find their best match. I request all members to take full advantage of first of its kind initiative of Rajkot Chamber.

We are transitioning leadership roles between generations with inter connectivity between businessmen and industrialists and ensure effective role of the rajkot chamber in development of trade and industries and see how far we are useful to others.
