For the development of Rajkot and Saurashtra region the Rajkot Chamber always stands in front for its development viz, providing the facility of Broad Gauge to Saurashtra region, developing the facility of telecommunication at the concerned levels for microwave facility and the representation at the concerned levels for microwave facility and the facility of Information for modern technology in Gujarat. The Industrial state of GIDC was first established in Rajkot, and the Rajkot Chamber has contributed a lot for the development of Rajkot region in the field of Boeing Service, Saurashtra University, Doordarshan Kendra and Medical College etc.
